brickfox at the Internet World 2014

The Internet World took place in Munich on Tuesday and Wednesday. The e-commerce trade fair gave the brickfox team a lot of interesting conversations and many good contacts. Who would be surprised? Alongside mobile shopping, multichannel e-commerce was one of the trending topics at the trade fair. And that is justified! According to current market studies by the bvh, around 40% of all e-commerce sales are currently generated on marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay and Rakuten or meinpaket.de. [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=“1/1″][vc_column_text]This fact means that the usual business models of online retailers are growing to dimensions that can only be managed manually with great effort. In search of a tool that distributes their products to sales platforms in a fully automated but rule-based manner, numerous online retailers ended up at the brickfox stand in Munich. Our manageable area was generally well populated and the atmosphere was accordingly entertaining.
The presentations by Torsten Blümel, Igor Leko and brickfox customer Fashion For Home - represented by CMO Sascha Vitzthum - were entertaining and, above all, informative. Those interested were able to gain an insight into "process optimization in online retail" and "central product data management in multichannel e-commerce". They also learned how to be so successful with the right e-commerce strategy and brickfox as a multichannel tool that you can expand into brick-and-mortar retail. Many listeners took the opportunity to delve deeper into these topics and open questions in personal discussions at the stand.
For some of our visitors it was an advantage to meet brickfox together with the integration partner NETFORMIC. As an internet agency, NETFORMIC GmbH has specialized in the creation of online shops and the associated online marketing. This meant that we were able to offer a complete e-commerce package at our joint stand. This enables retailers to map and optimally design all online trading processes. After many joint e-commerce projects, we - brickfox and NETFORMIC - can draw on a wealth of experience and guarantee a smooth project process. We see ourselves as a team - and that benefits our customers!
This kind of team spirit also connects us with our technology partner pixi*. pixi* was also on site in Munich. With its online mail order software, it not only combines all processes in the ERP area but is also a perfect basis for multi-channel e-commerce via brickfox. In the case of pixi*, too, numerous joint projects form the basis for successful cooperation. Pixi* customers who want to sell their products not only in the online shop but also on marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay & Co. can easily connect brickfox to their system via a plug-in. As a control center, brickfox then manages the entire online trade. In this way, the retailer not only benefits from an enormous expansion of his trading reach but also from convenient processes. He has an intelligent system in which he can centrally control his e-commerce.
Whether with NETFORMIC, pixi*, Shopgate or Oxid – the Internet World 2014 in Munich was characterized by team spirit. This made it very inspiring for both exhibitors and customers![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
