Under the motto "The future of e-commerce", Internet World 2015 set new visitor records. 14.700 interested people came to Munich on March 24 and 25 to be inspired by the increasingly complex - and increasingly exciting - subject of e-commerce. 338 exhibitors described strategies and showed innovations for trend topics such as mobile commerce, digitization at the POS or multi-channel e-commerce ... including brickfox with software that significantly simplifies trading on online marketplaces.
Trading on online marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay & Co has long been on the agenda of retailers who want to expand the reach of their product range beyond the boundaries of their own online shop. But in addition to the large, highly frequented platforms, more and more industry-specific marketplaces and international sales channels are coming into focus. There are numerous expansion opportunities here, which depend on the product range but also on the retailer's individual strategy. A sensible and, above all, very sustainable strategy for most retailers is to "bet on several horses at once". If you are present on several channels in parallel, you do not become too dependent on a single platform and, even if things are not going well on one, you remain on top.
Before you can really get started with multi-channel e-commerce, you should have your e-commerce processes under control. Otherwise, a fundamentally good intention can quickly turn into confusing chaos. So if you want to operate all sales channels - from the online shop to the marketplace - in a clear and efficient manner, you need an e-commerce control center like brickfox. With brickfox, online retailers not only automatically manage their product range on a wide variety of marketplaces, but also benefit from the sophisticated inventory management of the e-commerce middleware. With brickfox, retailers not only have control of their product range, but also all orders and their inventory - across all channels! - under control. And this is the only way they can really get started with multi-channel e-commerce.
