Transformation into a marketplace: With the direct purchase option, idealo, the price comparison portal popular with online shoppers, is transformed from a “signpost” to a point of sale. Retailers can now add a direct purchase function to the listing of their products. The expanded brickfox-idealo interface guarantees a smooth exchange of orders and an inventory update across all connected sales channels.

With the "direct purchase" option, Germany's largest price comparison portal www.idealo.de becomes a marketplace. The integration of a checkout directly on the product completes the portal's customer journey. Buyers no longer have to go to the retailer's website to buy a product, but can do so directly on idealo.de ... provided the retailer offers this option.

Currently, around 1,5 million active "price comparators" use the idealo app alone, plus numerous users of the desktop version.
