brickfox customers grow three times faster than the e-commerce market in Germany

With a 36% growth in retailer sales compared to the previous year, brickfox Multichannel E-Commerce has tripled the forecast that the bevh made for online retail in 2016. This means that a very successful multichannel e-commerce year is coming to an end for brickfox customers. E-commerce is a growth market – that is nothing new. However, expectations for 2016 were far exceeded in some segments. At the beginning of 2016, the Federal Association of E-Commerce and Mail Order Trade – bevh for short – predicted online trade growth of 12%. This figure was already exceeded in the third quarter of 2016 with growth of 14,6%. The high-revenue Christmas business had not yet begun at this point. These figures apply to e-commerce “in general”, while special segments such as multi-channel e-commerce are even recording higher growth rates. The multi-channel e-commerce specialist brickfox is reporting one of the most successful years in its company history… viewed from the perspective of its customers. Online retailers who manage their multi-channel e-commerce via the brickfox middleware grew twice to three times as much in 2016 as the “general” e-commerce market in Germany. If you compare brickfox GmbH's retail sales in 2015/2016, the growth is 36%. This excludes new customers in 2016, which would have resulted in even higher sales growth.

Multichannel e-commerce - sales on various online platforms - is now the basis of many successful trading scenarios. Sales on online marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay & Co. have become just as solid and lucrative a revenue component for online retailers as sales via their own online shops.
