Adaptation of the manufacturer menu

Dear brickfox user

Due to new channel requirements we have received regarding information about the manufacturer and the responsible person, we have expanded our manufacturer menu once again.

Previously, the requirement of most channels was that we could send the manufacturer and the responsible person in the same fields, but there are now a few channels that want either a separate data set or parts of it in a separate attribute. Likewise, two channels have the requirement to provide information about whether the manufacturer is based in the EU or not.

On this page you will also find the current status of the implementation of the requirements on the individual marketplaces.

Tips on GPSR 

1. Maintain the manufacturer information promptly
2. Check whether you have maintained all other information for your products, such as a safety data sheet or the G&H phrases, ... for the products in the attribute mapping of the marketplaces
3. If you cannot find the manufacturer information (e.g. manufacturer name, address, etc.) in the offers on the marketplaces, please check the following points before writing to us:
   1. If brickfox already transmits the data to this channel (see Help page in Fox-Desk)
   2. Is the created manufacturer already assigned to the product in brickfox
   3. If there is a problem for the product in the channel's error list
   4. For the channel or individual product, only price and inventory may be sent to the channel
4. Also check in your seller backend whether the data is already on the product, but is not displayed in the frontend of the channel
