brickfox is repositioning itself
Why we need to rethink organization and leadership in the AI age
Many companies are talking about how AI is changing products. We are currently focusing very specifically on a second question: How does AI actually change the organization itself?
At brickfox, the answer is clear: significantly stronger than many still want to admit today.
Because AI doesn't just change tools. AI changes processes, responsibilities, interfaces, and the way teams collaborate. Recurring tasks can be automated. Knowledge can be made available more systematically. Decisions can be prepared more quickly. At the same time, clear responsibilities, focus, and seamless integration between teams are becoming increasingly important.
That is precisely why we at brickfox are undergoing a structural reorganization.
Away from silos, towards more collaborative impact
We are bringing together teams with similar tasks, resources, and responsibilities. Our goal is not simply to merge departments. Our goal is a leaner, more agile, and future-proof organization.
This means specifically:
- less unnecessary handover
- clearer responsibilities
- more automation
- shared AI agents
- faster decisions
- closer integration between operational work, technology and product
We don't want to make organizations bigger and more complicated. We want to make them more effective.
Why our Tour Operators with changed
When the way people work together changes, leadership must also change.
Therefore, we are expanding our management team around Dietmar Hölscher:
Andre Schultewolter takes on the role of Chief Operating Officer.
He stands for operational clarity, structure, commitment, and speed in implementation.
Sebastian Klöpper shall Director Services.
He is responsible for an area that will be even more closely integrated, more leanly organized, and more strongly focused on quality, scalability, and customer success in the future.
Hermann Schweers takes on the role of CTO.
His focus is on technological clarity, automation, scalability, and an architecture that noticeably accelerates our organization.
Martin Haak shall Chief Product Officer.
It strengthens the connection between market, customer reality, technology and product strategy – with more focus, more prioritization and more impact.
From CEO to CVO
In parallel, changes Dietmar Hoelscher its title from the classical CEO zu Chief Visionary Officer and managing director.
This change is not a retreat from responsibility. It is a conscious shift in focus.
Because in the next phase of brickfox, the focus will be even more on future issues:
Where is the market headed?
How are AI and automation changing the requirements of our customers?
How do we position brickfox so that we not only keep up, but actively shape the future?
The title CVO This focus is described more precisely: vision, strategic development, market understanding and securing the future – while maintaining unchanged responsibility as managing director.
What this means for customers and partners
For our customers and partners, this reorganization is not just an abstract organizational chart issue.
It means:
- clear responsibilities
- closer collaboration between product, technology, services and operations
- more speed in implementation
- more automation
- more focus
- an overall future-proof setup
In short: brickfox will become leaner, more agile, and more effective.
Our Aspiration
We believe that organizations in the AI age don't win simply by introducing new tools. They win by consistently evolving the way they work.
That's exactly what we're doing right now.
We're not just rebuilding brickfox.
We're building Brickfox for the next phase. 🦊
