2. Collection and storage of personal data as well as the nature and purpose of their use
a) When visiting the website
When you visit our website, the browser used on your device automatically sends information to our website server. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is recorded without your intervention and stored until it is automatically deleted:
• Name of the retrieved file
• Date and time of retrieval
• amount of data transferred
• Message indicating whether the retrieval was successful
• Description of the type of web browser used
• used operating system
• the previously visited page
• Provider
• Your IP address
The data mentioned are processed by us for the following purposes:
• Ensuring a smooth connection to the website,
• Ensuring comfortable use of our website,
• Evaluation of system security and stability as well as
• for other administrative purposes.
The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest follows from the purposes for data collection listed above. Under no circumstances do we use the data collected for the purpose of drawing conclusions about you personally.
In addition, we use cookies as well as analysis and marketing services when you visit our website. You can find more detailed information in sections 5 - 7 of this data protection declaration.
b) When using our contact form
If you have any questions, we offer you the opportunity to contact us using a form provided on the website. You must provide your name, company, a valid email address, telephone number and the specific query so that we know who the query came from and can answer it. Other information can be provided voluntarily.
The personal data collected by us for the use of the contact form will be automatically deleted after your request has been processed, unless another legitimate basis (e.g. a specific order) authorizes further processing.
Data processing for the purpose of contacting us is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR on the basis of your specific request.
c) When using our newsletter
On our website you have the option of subscribing to a free email newsletter. When you register for the newsletter, the data from the input mask is transmitted to us.
•Name
• Email-Address
• Company (voluntary information)
In addition, the following data is collected upon registration:
• IP address of the accessing computer
• Date and time of registration
For the processing of the data, your consent is obtained during the registration process and reference is made to this privacy policy.
If you commission us to provide services and provide your email address, we may subsequently use this to send you a newsletter. In such a case, the newsletter will only be used to send direct advertising for our own similar goods or services.
In connection with the processing of data for the sending of newsletters, there is no disclosure of the data to third parties. The data will be used exclusively for sending the newsletter.
The purpose of collecting the user's email address is to deliver the email newsletter. The collection of other personal data during the registration process serves to prevent misuse of the services or the email address used.
The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary for the purpose of its collection. The e-mail address of the user is therefore stored as long as the subscription to the newsletter is active.
The other personal data collected during the registration process will normally be deleted after a period of seven days.
The user can cancel the newsletter subscription at any time. For this purpose, there is a corresponding link in every newsletter. This also makes it possible to revoke the consent to the storage of the personal data collected during the registration process.
The legal basis for processing data after the user has registered for the newsletter is the user's consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR). The legal basis for sending the newsletter as a result of the sale of goods or services is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f in conjunction with Section 7 Para. 3 UWG.
Newsletter - Success Measurement
The newsletters contain a so-called "pixel", i.e. a pixel-sized file that is retrieved from our server when the newsletter is opened, or if we use a shipping service provider, from their server. As part of this retrieval, technical information such as information about the browser and your system, as well as your IP address and the time of retrieval, is initially collected.
This information is used to improve the technical performance of services based on their specifications or audience and their reading habits, based on their locations (which can be determined using the IP address) or access times. Statistical surveys also include determining if the newsletters will be opened, when they will be opened and which links will be clicked. For technical reasons, this information can be assigned to the individual newsletter recipients. However, it is neither our goal nor, if used, that of the shipping service provider to observe individual users. The evaluations serve us much more to recognize the reading habits of our users and to adapt our content to them or to send different content according to the interests of our users.
3. Disclosure of data
A transfer of your personal data to third parties for purposes other than those listed below does not take place.
We only share your personal information with third parties if:
• You have given your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR,
• the transfer is necessary according to Art.6 Para.1 lit.f GDPR and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding legitimate interest in not sharing your data,
• in the event that there is a legal obligation to disclose data pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. c GDPR, and
• this is legally permissible and necessary for the processing of contractual relationships with you according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR.
4. Cookies
We use so-called cookies in some areas of our website. These file elements allow your computer to be identified as a technical unit during your visit to this website in order to make it easier for you to use our services - even on repeat visits.
However, you generally have the option of setting your Internet browser so that you are informed about the appearance of cookies, so that you can allow or exclude them, or delete existing cookies.
Please use the help function of your Internet browser to obtain information on changing these settings. We would like to point out that individual functions of our website may not work if you have deactivated the use of cookies.
Cookies do not allow a server to read private information from your computer or information stored by another server. They do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses.
Unless specifically regulated below, we base the use of cookies on Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f of GDPR. The processing is carried out to improve the functionality of our website. It is therefore necessary to protect our legitimate interests.

1.Google Analytics
2. Google Re/Marketing Services
3. Facebook “Visitor Action Pixel”
4. Akismet anti-spam check
5. bing ads
6. matelso
7. Hotjar

9. Other third-party services and content
5.1. Use of Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Google is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thus offers a guarantee to comply with European data protection law (see https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active ).
Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and that enable an analysis of the use of the website by you. The information on your use of this website generated through the cookie is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and saved there. However, due to the activation of IP anonymization on this website, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide us with other services related to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You can prevent cookies from being saved by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de).
We would like to point out that Google Analytics has been extended on this website with the code “gat._anonymizeIp();” in order to ensure anonymous collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking).
You can also prevent Google Analytics from collecting data by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will then be set, which prevents further collection of your data when you visit this website. This approach is particularly recommended when accessing our site via mobile devices.
Further information on terms of use and data protection can be found at www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html or at www.google.com/intl/de/analytics/privacyoverview.html.
We base the use of the aforementioned analysis tool on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR: the processing is carried out to analyze usage behavior and is therefore necessary to protect our legitimate interests.
5.2. Google Re/Marketing Services
We use the marketing and remarketing services (“Google Marketing Services”) of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, (“Google”).
Google is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thus offers a guarantee to comply with European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active).
Google Marketing Services allow us to display advertisements for and on our website in a more targeted manner in order to only present users with advertisements that potentially correspond to their interests. If, for example, a user is shown advertisements for products in which they were interested on other websites, this is referred to as "remarketing". For these purposes, when you visit our website and other websites on which Google Marketing Services are active, Google immediately executes a code from Google and so-called (re)marketing tags (invisible graphics or code, also known as "pixels") are integrated into the website. With their help, an individual cookie, i.e. a small file, is stored on the user's device (similar technologies can also be used instead of cookies). The cookies can be set by various domains, including google.com, doubleclick.net, invitemedia.com, admeld.com, googlesyndication.com or googleadservices.com. This file records which websites the user has visited, which content he is interested in and which offers he has clicked on, as well as technical information on the browser and operating system, referring websites, time of visit and other details on the use of the online service. The user's IP address is also recorded. As part of Google Analytics, we inform you that the IP address is shortened within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area and only in exceptional cases is it transferred in full to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address is not merged with user data within other Google offers. Google may also combine the above information with information from other sources. If the user then visits other websites, advertisements tailored to his interests can be shown to him.
The data of the users are pseudonym processed in the context of the Google marketing services. For example, Google does not store and process users' names or e-mail addresses, but processes the relevant data in a cookie-related manner within pseudonymous user profiles. That is, from the perspective of Google, the ads are not managed and displayed to a specifically identified person, but to the cookie owner, regardless of who that cookie owner is. This does not apply if a user has explicitly allowed Google to process the data without this pseudonymization. The information collected about users through Google Marketing Services is transmitted to Google and stored on Google's servers in the United States.
Among the Google marketing services we use is the online advertising program "Google AdWords". In the case of Google AdWords, each advertiser receives a different "conversion cookie". Cookies can not be tracked through AdWords advertisers' websites. The information collected through the cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords advertisers who have opted for conversion tracking. AdWords advertisers are told the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a conversion tracking tag page. However, they do not receive information that personally identifies users.
We also use the “Google Tag Manager” to integrate and manage Google analytics and marketing services on our website.
For more information about Google's use of data for marketing purposes, please visit the overview page: https://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads, and Google's privacy policy is available at https://www.google.com/policies/privacy.
If you wish to object to interest-based advertising through Google Marketing Services, you can use the settings and opt-out options provided by Google: http://www.google.com/ads/preferences.
We base this use on Art. 6 Para.1 lit.a GDPR.
5.3. Use of the Facebook “Visitor Action Pixel”
With your consent, the “visitor action pixel” of Facebook Inc., 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”) will be used on our website.
The "visitor action pixel" can be used to track user actions as soon as they are redirected to a provider's website by clicking on a Facebook ad. This enables us to record the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes and to optimize our marketing measures accordingly. The data collected is anonymous to us; we cannot view or draw conclusions about individual users' personal data.
Facebook stores and processes this data. Facebook can therefore assign this data to your Facebook account. You can allow Facebook and its partners to place advertisements on and outside of Facebook. A cookie may also be stored on your computer for these purposes. You can find more information about the collection and use of data by Facebook as well as your rights and options for protecting your privacy in Facebook's data policy: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/
Consent to the use of the Facebook visitor action pixel may only be given by users who are older than 13 years. You can revoke your consent here.
We base this use on Art. 6 Para.1 lit.a GDPR.
5.4. Use of Akismet Anti-Spam Check
Our website uses the "Akismet" service, which is offered by Automattic Inc., 60 29th Street #343, San Francisco, CA 94110, USA. This service is used to distinguish between real people's comments and spam comments. All comment details are sent to a server in the USA, where they are analyzed and stored for four days for comparison purposes. If a comment is classified as spam, the data is stored beyond this time. This information includes the name entered, the email address, the IP address, the content of the comment, the referrer, information on the browser used, the computer system and the time of entry.
Automattic is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thus offers a guarantee to comply with European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000CbqcAAC&status=Active).
Further information on the collection and use of data by Akismet can be found in Automattic's privacy policy: https://automattic.com/privacy/.
Users are welcome to use pseudonyms, or to refrain from entering the name or email address. You can completely prevent the transfer of data by not using our commenting system. That would be a shame, but unfortunately we see no other alternatives that work equally effectively.
We base this use on Art. 6 Para.1 lit.a GDPR.
5.5. Use of bing ads
On our website, Bing Ads technologies are used to collect and store data from which user profiles are created using pseudonyms. This is a service provided by Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA. This service enables us to track the activities of users on our website when they have reached our website via ads from Bing Ads. If you reach our website via such an advertisement, a cookie will be placed on your computer. A Bing UET tag is integrated on our website. This is a piece of code that, in conjunction with the cookie, is used to store some non-personal information about how the website is used. This includes, among other things, the length of stay on the website, which areas of the website were accessed and which advertisement the user used to access the website. Information about your identity is not recorded.
The information collected is transferred to Microsoft servers in the USA and stored there for a maximum of 180 days. You can prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website and the processing of this data by deactivating the setting of cookies. This may limit the functionality of the website.
In addition, Microsoft may track your usage behavior across multiple electronic devices through so-called cross-device tracking and is therefore able to display personalized advertising on or in Microsoft websites and apps. You can deactivate this behavior at http://choice.microsoft.com/de-de/opt-out.
For more information about Bing's analytics services, please visit the Bing Ads website (https://help.bingads.microsoft.com/#apex/3/de/53056/2). For more information about data protection at Microsoft and Bing, please see Microsoft's privacy policy (https://privacy.microsoft.com/de-de/privacystatement).
We base this use on Art. 6 Para.1 lit.a GDPR.
5.6. Use of matelso
For telephone tracking service we use the company MaTelSo GmbH, Heilbronner Str. 150
70191 Stuttgart, Germany. This stores the displayed phone number and time in a cookie mat_tel. As soon as a call is made, the shortened caller phone number and the duration of the call, as well as whether the call was successful, are stored in the MaTelSo system and passed on pseudonymously to Google Analytics via web event in order to carry out a conversion measurement there.
We base this use on Art. 6 Para.1 lit.a GDPR.
5.7 Use of Hotjar
We use Hotjarto better understand the needs of our users and to optimize the offering on this website. With the help of Hotjar's technology, we get a better understanding of the experiences of our users (e.g. how much time users spend on which pages, which links they click, what they like and what they don't like, etc.) and this helps us to tailor our offering to the feedback of our users. Hotjar works with cookies and other technologies to collect information about the behavior of our users and their end devices (in particular IP address of the device (only recorded and stored in an anonymized form), screen size, device type (Unique Device Identifiers), information about the browser used, location (country only), preferred language for displaying our website). Hotjar stores this information in a pseudonymized user profile. The information is not used by Hotjar or us to identify individual users or combined with other data about individual users. For more information, see Hotjar's privacy policy Read.
You can object to the storage of a user profile and information about your visit to our website by Hotjar as well as the setting of Hotjar tracking cookies on other websites if you Opt-out link Click.
We base this use on Art. 6 Para.1 lit.a GDPR.
5.8 Use of LinkedIn
Our website uses features of the LinkedIn network. Provider is LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Each time you visit one of our pages that contains LinkedIn features, it will connect to LinkedIn servers. LinkedIn is informed that you have visited our website with your IP address. If you click LinkedIn's "Recommend Button" and are logged in to your LinkedIn account, LinkedIn will be able to associate your visit to our website with you and your user account. We point out that we as the provider of the pages have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data and their use by LinkedIn.
For more information, see LinkedIn's Privacy Statement at: https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy
We base this use on Art. 6 Para.1 lit.a GDPR.
5.9 Integration of additional services and content from third parties

This always presupposes that the third-party providers of this content perceive the IP address of the user, since without the IP address they would not be able to send the content to their browser. The IP address is therefore required to display this content. We endeavour to only use content whose respective providers only use the IP address to deliver the content. Third-party providers may also use so-called pixel tags (invisible graphics, also known as "pixels") for statistical or marketing purposes. The "pixel tags" can be used to evaluate information such as visitor traffic on the pages of this website. The pseudonymous information may also be stored in cookies on the user's device and may contain, among other things, technical information about the browser and operating system, referring websites, time of visit and other information about the use of our online offer, as well as be linked to such information from other sources.
